Sarah Liz Kaplan (she/her) is currently a student at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Theatre and Education committed to making equitable, engaging, and inclusive theater and music. Born and raised in San Diego, California, she has had the privilege to work at numerous theaters in San Diego and New York City that have shaped her as a performer and educator. Most recently, she was the Production Script Assistant for Kait Kerrigan for the World Premier of The Heart at La Jolla Playhouse and is a Summer 2026 Directing Intern at The Muny. She has taught tap and jazz to toddlers and adults, creating community and joy through dance with a movement class for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Sarah is a songwriter with an EP “Almost December” on all streaming platforms, and is currently workshopping an original musical.
